Our mission is to assist organisations in their transformation to using real time Internet Technologies: this means we develop strategies and architectures for senior managers to enact change; we sell or build, deploy and integrate solutions that realise the goals of a Web Enabled Real-Time enterprise.

Critical strategies for enterprises over the next decade include transforming themselves into real-time enterprises: creating an efficient and dynamic unit from an organisation of many departments and many more individuals that can respond to customers faster, process requests faster and more efficiently to deliver higher and more profitable customer service. Becoming better able to respond to continuously changing business environment and deploy processes, systems and technology that can be changed quickly. In tangible terms, this can mean:
- selling more products;
- being more responsive to customer demand;
- reducing time to market for new products;
- carrying lower inventory;
- operating within increasing compliance and regulatory frameworks;
- managing risk better;
- fewer staff;
- lower costs;
- and ultimately higher profitability.
By assisiting in developing an architected Internet presence, we aim to make organisations more agile.
Innately, smaller organisations are more agile: they have fewer workers, fewer departments, shorter paths of communication and chains of command. One of the keys to delivering a real-time enterprise is the integration of business processes and disparate systems to remove the problem of communication and bureaucracy that grows up inside large organisations over time.
Becoming a Web enabled real-time enterprise is very difficult to achieve: organisations are only just learning what a real-time enterprise means and many have dived into expensive modeling exercises without any real understanding of the success criteria and how their goals can be realised. This failure has delayed rationalisation programmes and reduced competitiveness and damaged bottom line, ultimately hit shareholder value and the share price.
We believe the task of creating a Web enabled real-time enterprise requires a rationalisation and standardisation of processes, behaviour, systems and information. More importantly, an architectural vision of how these enablers can be constructed to deliver the most efficient business processes. However, defining integrated business processes is difficult to achieve first time and the lead times from modeling to implementation of production ready business processes can be lengthy and certainly not guaranteed.
