This was announced today at the signing Ceremony, which took place at QAFAC's headquarters and was attended by Dr. Ahmed Al-Mohanadi, Director of the e-Government Project in Qatar and QAFAC's Administration Manager, Mr. Ahmed Salem A. Al-Kuwari in the presence of representatives from both organizations.
After welcoming the representatives of e-Government, Mr. Ahmed Al-Kuwari said "We are proud to be associated with the e-Government of Qatar. QAFAC will support the e-Government in its continuous efforts to move quickly into the electronic age, and we will make sure that all our 250 employees will start using the e-services as of today"
According to Dr. Ahmed Al-Mohanadi: "The partnership between e-Government and QAFAC is a continuation of our commitment to make the life of citizens, residents, businesses and visitors of Qatar much easier."
With the robust and reliable infrastructure of e-Government, users will engage in e-transactions with an extra degree of trust than paper-based transactions. Instead of visiting each of the governmental institution, the user are now capable of completing their governmental transactions through a simple mouse click, in a process transparent to them.
The digitization of knowledge, information, processes and communications is one of the driving forces of today's successful businesses. The Internet has changed the way that organizations and people interact, and many companies in Qatar have realized the importance and convenience of e-business transactions in their daily lives.
In this regard, Dr. Ahmed Al-Mohanadi said: "In parallel to QAFAC, many renowned organizations in Qatar have signed a user and license agreement during this year and have started benefiting from the various e-services that the e-Government of Qatar offers. We hope that all local & international companies in Qatar will take QAFAC as an exemplar of companies that encourage IT developments."
Dr. Ahmed concluded : "Customer satisfaction as well as the continuous development of our e-services are our main specialty. We will make use of this experience to remain one of the leaders within the new e-government technology. The future is for e-business, and e-Government is the future of Qatar services."
